Kpop Experience: TXT VR Concert in Denver

Freebies, cards, a poster, and an adventure with fellow Tomorrow X Together fans... The intimacy of a virtual reality concert is real and quite exquisite. My friend and I dared to navigate the traffic of Denver, venturing to Regal UA Denver Pavilions, and discovered the hour-long Heart Attack concert was worth the $40 cost.

Included with Your Ticket Purchase

Upon arrival we received a photocard wrapped cutely in a collective picture of them and a sheet of stickers featuring Soobin, Yeonjun, Hueningkai, Taehyun, and Beomgyu. They're dressed in the outfit they greet you in during the concert - when you choose which member flirts with you during the experience. ❤️

I think I'll be preserving these stickers. And if you're curious, I chose Soobin💕 After the concert was over, an employee handed out a small poster as we exited the theater. Its home is next to my Ateez Light the Way VR concert poster:

The Intimacy of Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is becoming popularized as headsets find their way into homes and cinemas host them in their theaters. To feel as if you're right in front of your favorite artist - while they're staring you in the eyes - is a magnificent intimacy that anyone can experience. The camera angles allow you to feel as if you're standing beside them or floating above them while they perform. Watching their dance moves up close is a rare treat that a real concert has trouble portraying to the entire audience.

During Heart Attack, TXT members encourage you to interact with them as they put up hand signs such as a half heart - expecting you to complete the heart with your own hand. And yes, you can see your own hand in the illusion because you make configurations at the beginning of the experience.

At the end, they showed some behind-the-scenes footage of them dancing and goofing around. A couple of members got so close to the camera it was as if their forehead was resting against yours. One even leaned in for a kiss, and yes, the audience went crazy.

The Future of Entertainment

VR concerts are gaining popularity as more people become curious enough to go to them. They're a great way for artists to connect more closely to their audience (as well as drive them wild) and they can be fun for anyone willing to put on a headset. There's no need to worry about getting a ticket as soon as they go on sale for fear of selling out - there's always multiple showings. Less traffic, indoor environment, and comfy seating...

While live concerts will always hold a special place in my heart and in my future, I highly recommend attending a VR concert of your favorite music artist. You'll enjoy more than just a show - you'll get to look them in the eyes and interact with them while hearing fellow fans do the same around you. It's a great experience I highly encourage trying - especially now that more and more artists are jumping on the VR concert train.
